Campion School, Bhopal celebrated India 74th Republic Day with a great deal of patriotic zeal. The event took place on January 26, on the school premises. All the teachers from secondary and primary took pride in glorifying and celebrating the day. The school echoed with patriotic fervour. The day began with the honour of the Indian tricolour Flag Unfurling by Principal Dr. Fr. Athnas Lakra SJ followed by the National Anthem. Salute command was given by commanding officer Mr. Johnsy Koshy whereas Master Tushar Sharma took the Pledge to all the school staff. The entire school courtyard reverberated with the rhythmic Patriotic Song sung by Secondary section students like Hamara watan jaan se pyara watan tumko naman tumko naman, Vande Mataram, Yeh desh hai veer jawano ka Sare jaha se acha, Aye mere pyare watan etc. Choir group students wore tri-coloured clothes to mark the occasion. The Speech was given by School Captain Master Aditya Shrivastava. A very inspiring speech was given by the Teacher from the Primary Section Mrs.Deepti Swarup. Various Academic awards were also given on this auspicious occasion. A Vote of thanks was given by Teacher Arun Trivedi. Master of Ceremony was done by PE teacher Sanjay Mishra. To mark the importance of the day Superior & Manager Fr. Kapil Xaxa SJ, Vice Principal Fr. Amritlal Toppo SJ, Bursar Fr. Blacius Kullu SJ, Headmistress Sister Maria Lavita A.C., with other sisters and all the teachers from primary & secondary sections, were also present on this occasion.
